Alicia se va de Chile durante la dictadura de Pinochet, su familia se va porque no le queda otra posibilidad, y ella trata de rehacer su identidad en un país donde no conoce el idioma ni la idiosincrasia pero sin embargo ella logra sobrevivir a cada momento.
¿Por qué Alicia por el momento? Porque tenemos que seguir hablando de la identidad. Pero también tenemos que seguir hablando sin dolernos. Al leer Alicia por el momento sentí una empatía inmediata con el texto, me pareció una obra muy inteligente y bien escrita pero además una pieza que tenía en cuenta los sentimientos de las personas migrantes, el corazón de quien por uno u otro motivo debe dejar el lugar donde nació.
La escenografía consiste en un único objeto rodante, una grada con cajones y lugares de guardado del vestuario, sobre el que transcurren todas las acciones de la obra a partir de sus desplazamientos.

Alicia leaves Chile during the Pinochet dictatorship; her family departs because they have no other choice, and she must reconstruct her identity in a country whose language and customs she does not know, yet she manages to survive each moment.
Why Alicia for the Time Being? Because we must continue speaking about identity. But we must also keep speaking without hurting. When I read Alicia for the Time Being, I felt an immediate empathy with the text—it struck me as an intelligent and well-written play, but also one that acknowledges the emotional landscape of migrants, the inner life of those who, for one reason or another, must leave the place where they were born.
The scenography consists of a single mobile object: a tiered platform with drawers and storage spaces for the costumes. All the actions of the play unfold upon it through its various displacements.
